Why Did He Go to the High Court?
In the petition filed in court, Naga Chaitanya stated that several websites and social media platforms are using his name, image, and identity without his permission. The actor alleged that certain online content contains false and derogatory claims about him, which are damaging his reputation.
The petition also referenced news articles and videos that claimed Naga Chaitanya had cheated on his ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu or had harmed her career. The actor called these allegations baseless and demanded that such content be taken down.
Court Grants Interim Relief
After hearing the matter, the Delhi High Court granted interim relief to Naga Chaitanya. The court directed that online posts, videos, and other material that could damage his reputation be removed. The court also expressed concern over objectionable content created using AI and deepfake technology.
